So, I've been restoring a 1956 Century Resorter....finally got around to looking into the 64 year old fuel tank....Time for a new one.... I contacted a fuel tank company that advertises in one of the monthly wooden boat magazines and got a price of $765.00 .... After looking around on Google I found Carr..... $325 for a brand new tank with all the connections, fill tube, vent tube, double ground points, fuel sender for the dash gauge and of course the fuel out to the carbs.... I couldn't have been happier talking to Roland....
The tank fit great and is top quality. One fitting was damaged in the shipping process and Roland was very quick to send a new one to me quickly. Very professional and great customer support. Thanks
I sent Roland a sketch of the original leaking tank for my Mako 22 ft boat and he had an estimate back to me within a couple hours which included the shipping to NC. The tank was delivered 10 days after the order was placed and it looks great . What\'s interesting is that the new tank is better fabricated then the original one so great job to Roland and his team.
Roland Rochette fabricated a custom hydraulic tank for a heavy duty log splitter application and the quality of workmanship is second to none. Roland worked with me on the design and the custom dimensions and ports fit on the unit with no alterations at all. The quality of the welding and the attention to my needs is a characteristic that you just can\'t find anymore. Well, you can at CARR Enterprises. I ordered a tank and a custom support and both were done quickly and sent to me packaged so there was no damage at all. I really appreciate dealing directly with Roland, and I will always recommend Roland and CARR for any future custom metal fabrication jobs. Believe me, these guys are good and you will get a piece of equipment that is built to last. Thank you Roland and CARR Enterprises for a job well done. Eric Glaude Richmond, TX
I can not say enough of how great my pontoon gas tank came out. All I had was a drawing that I had made and they were able to make it just the way I was thinking it should be. They worked me on the time line I needed to pay for it. I felt they had a very good price for what I was asking to be made. Thanks again for making the tank just right
I discovered that the tank in my Steiger Craft Chesapeake had corroded beyond all repair during my deck and transom replacement. I didn\'t know quite what to do since this was a sloped tank and I couldn\'t find an aftermarket that would work. So, after a quick internet search I found Carr Enterprises online. I sent in a quote request not being real optimistic and almost immediately (on a Sunday) received a quote back. I was so impressed by the price, what I\'d be getting, and how reasonable shipping was from Florida to Ohio, that I placed my order. I am a backyard restorer of all things, and I get packages from many vendors almost every day. It\'s just so hard to get good products with decent customer support, and frankly I am always suspicious or tend to expect the worst. I opted for the epoxy coating, and added a couple of extras. My tank had many different measurements and was a little more complicated than standard. It shipped in a week! When it arrived, I was beside myself. The quality is unmatched. The welds were top notch, and it came tested with a certification label. I held off ordering all of my hoses but didn\'t need to, all of the fittings were exactly where they needed to be. Even the epoxy paint was perfect! Communication and follow up made me feel comfortable about the whole transaction. I\'m definitely going to have Roland do my future fabrication. Thanks again!
