My name is Richard and I had a 15 gallon fuel tank made for my boat. I finally got to run the boat this week and it was perfect no leaks and the tank fit perfect thank you Roland
I ordered (2) custom fuel tanks. They were quoted and arrived in 2 weeks as promised. Coated with a nice black tar epoxy finish (optional but worth it), with all the fittings and mounts in the correct location per the drawing I sent. The Tig Welding looks really good. High quality pick-up tube made from brass and very nice Rochester Reed Switch fuel sender. I think these tanks are high quality for the price I paid. The only very small complaint was the shipment packaging was a little weak and luckily the tanks made the trip with no damage. The top of the tanks were well protected in styrofoam, but the tank bottoms were unprotected and only the cardboard was present. 4.5 out of 5 stars.
We had a problem and Roland resolved it in a timely manner. Thanks for getting this done.Highly recommend and he will answer phone
I ordered a custom 22 gallon underfloor permanent fuel tank from Roland and his company in order to replace a 31 year old fuel tank in my 1990 19 foot Raven Osprey Bowrider boat. Before finding this operation, I was searching for a direct replacement fuel tank. That did not exist anywhere. After working through email with Roland, I had submitted a drawing and measurements of the original fuel tank. After some finer changes, I placed the order. About 9 days later, I received the fuel tank and found that it was so well done that it was a shiny new complete mirror image of the old fuel tank. Totally pleased! Many thanks to the folks at Carr Enterprises for being able to make this fuel tank and save my old boat for more years to come!
Quotes for an aluminum fuel tank for my sailboat were all over the map. A couple of them were over $1,000.00 (plus shipping). Roland was low bidder so I sent him my sketches and he was able to start immediately. He had a couple of questions so he called me and I sent him a clarification photo. He took care of the details and shipped my tank within a few days. I opted for the external paint job. When I saw the tank my first thought was that it was a shame to hide the tank in the bilge where no one will be able to see it! The welds were remarkably small and uniform. The dimensions were all correct so the tank fit perfectly. The only negative was that he somehow over calculated the tank volume and presumably this led him to conclude that a baffle was necessary. There is no particular problem with having a baffle and it will help to limit the fuel slosh when I encounter the inevitable powerboat wake.
Amazing custom tank built and shipped to New Hampshire in 10 days. Needed exact dimensions to fit in the tight space. Tank fit perfectly, even had a custom vent tube coming out of the top of the tank to match original.
